Lucky to participate in the Seventh District Federation Garden Club of New York State Candlelight Tour held this year in Canandaigua, we were one of seven historic homes decorated with fresh greens and flowers for the December 7 event. Approximately 650 people toured our home, some waiting 45 minutes in the bitter cold wind to just get in. Beautiful decorations provided by the Bloomfield Garden Club were found in every room and admired by many. It was great to hear all the oohs and aahs, not only about the wonderful festive decor, but also to see people enjoy our home and to hear the story of our renovation. It was exciting to have so many see our beautiful home all decked out for the holidays! (Got some great ideas for next year too!) Pictures to come soon!
